Data controller

Data collected
We process the information you provide through the quote form, email or WhatsApp: name, contact details, information about the property and proposed work, notes and any photos or floor plans. Name and email are needed to handle a request through the form; other fields and attachments are optional. Avoid sending sensitive data or unnecessary information about other people.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to answer requests, assess the work and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking precontractual steps at your request under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. We do not use requests for marketing or profiling.
Retention
Quote request data, including photos and floor plans, is retained for a maximum of 12 months after receipt. This period applies to quote requests: if a contract is formed, contractual and accounting documents are subject to the applicable statutory retention obligations.
Hosting and recipients
Theory7 is the website hosting provider. The form sends your request and attachments to our mailbox without creating a separate database. Attachments are processed temporarily by the server during submission and are not published on the website. Data may be processed by people authorised to handle requests and by technical service providers needed for hosting and email. We do not sell data to third parties for marketing.
Abuse prevention
To limit spam, the form uses a technical identifier derived from the IP address using HMAC and a record of recent submissions. This record does not store the IP address in plain text. These technical records are deleted during cleanup triggered by subsequent requests after 24 hours of inactivity. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in protecting the service under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Contact through external services
WhatsApp links only open an external service when you select them. If you contact us through WhatsApp or email, the relevant provider processes data under its own terms and privacy notice. Website fonts are hosted with the website and are not loaded from Google Fonts.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and, where applicable under the GDPR, data portability and objection by contacting info@rovere.nl. We normally respond within one month; any legally permitted extension will be communicated to you. Some rights may be limited by applicable legal obligations.
Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, through autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the competent supervisory authority in the country where you habitually live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
